Phuket has many natural wonders that you can enjoy, such as Phrom Thep Cape, Nai Harn Beach, and Pha Ngan Islands. However, two of the places that many people often forget to think about when they come to Phuket are Klong Muang and Tub Kaek Beach. T

hese are two of the most beautiful locations that not everyone knows about, which makes them the perfect destination for those who are looking to blaze new trails.

In this article, we’ll talk about all you need to know about Klong Muang and Tub Kaek Beach and what you should do while you’re there. That said, let’s get to it!

Klong Muang Community

Klong Muang is a small beach located in the southern part of Phuket, in a small peninsula that extends into the Andaman Sea. It’s home to a small Muslim community that lives off of fishery and tourism; as such, they welcome tourists with open arms.

There’s a cape called Hang Nak Cape, just south of the village where the Thai Royal Family built one of their summer homes. We suggest you try the amazing local Halal seafood dishes while you’re here, as it’s definitely something you won’t find anywhere else in the country, perhaps even in the world!

Another great thing about this village is that there is a four-star hotel here, as well as many other guesthouses. You won’t have to worry about accommodation or transportation, as the village has everything covered.

Tub Kaek Beach

Compared to Klong Muang Beach, Tub Kaek is an entirely different scenery, as it’s not home to anyone. It’s located inside a national park, which means that no one is allowed to stay there overnight.

This makes it one of the most secluded, private, and quiet places on the entire island; as such, it is perfect for a short getaway with your friends and family. Tub Kaek Beach is located about 15 minutes north from Klong Muang Beach, which means you can drop by there while on a tour of Southern Phuket.

Tub Kaek Beach is the perfect place for bird watchers, as many unique species can be spotted here at different times in the year. Additionally, you may want to take a boat out to Koh Hong from the nearby port, because Koh Hong is a highly recommended spot on pretty much every travel guide.

Another place you can go to while you’re in the area is Ngon Nak Lookout Point on top of the hill at the southern end of the beach. From there, you can see everything from Phuket City all the way down to Phang Nga Bay. Keep in mind that the hike up to the lookout point can be a bit of a challenging walk, so make sure you pack plenty of water.

Most tourists tend to stay in Klong Muang and then travel to Tub Kaek Beach during the day and return to the village at night, making it an excellent location for a two-day tour.
